Wimbledon Village is in the heartland of Time & Leisure’s community. Once a year all eyes are on Wimbledon for Wimbledon Tennis and everyone’s favourite stars can be spotted out having a coffee or strolling down the high street. We spotted Judy Murray last week heading out to dinner with friends as we wrapped up our Champagne and Strawberries networking party in Wimbledon Village.
PARTY IN THE VILLAGE
Over 50 people from local businesses joined Time & Leisure at Common Ground to enjoy the buzz of networking, meeting other local businesses and sampling the exclusive launch of Wimbledon White Champagne from Wimbledon Distillers. Lucy Kane, CEO and founder of Time & Leisure Media said
“We were delighted to launch Wimbledon White Champagne at our party in Wimbledon Village and in Time & Leisure magazine this month. Readers showed considerable interest in Mark Gordon’s latest collaboration – it’s summer in a glass”
ONLINE WIMBLEDON READERS
Wimbledon Village and the tennis are hot topics for readers online and in magazine print editions during July. Our website with 50,000 monthly page views and a domain authority if 52 always performs well, with our Wimbledon tennis content appearing on the first page of google searches. We’ve already had over 2500 competition entries on our website to win a bottle of Wimbledon White Champagne.
SPECIAL PRINT FEATURE
Our July edition has lots of top content from what to wear to Wimbledon, and a special promotion advertising Wimbledon Village featuring 15 fabulous local businesses. From pampering your pooch to investing in your dream home, this feature has life in Wimbledon Village covered.
Adrian Mills, Chair of Wimbledon Village Business Association said the feature shines a very positive light on the Village.
“The Wimbledon Village feature in Time & Leisure is super as it shows the great variety of businesses the Village has to offer, in addition to the range of eating and drinking we have.”
Adrian has put his heart and soul into promoting the Village over the last ten years. He recently announced he is stepping down as Chair, leaving some very hard shoes to fill. One of his first goals was to have a notice board put up in the Village. It only took ten years, but he finally had it installed on his way to our Champagne and networking party.
27 years of publishing Time & Leisure magazine has given us privilege of being a part of the community. Creating wonderful relationships and connecting us into the beating heart of the community. The Champagne and Strawberries party was the very best way to celebrate this and so much more!
Special thanks to Common Ground by Spacemade for generously hosting. And Willow Bough Tearooms for exceptional scones with cream and jam.
