Our November magazines are out with this gorgeous Christmassy illustration, specially commissioned by our editor.
We loved collaborating with local designer and artist Charlotte Salaman to create this wintry scene. Our group editor Tina Lofthouse was inspired by her work and collaborated with Charlotte to create this piece that highlights many of our favourite landmarks and neighbourhoods featured in Time & Leisure.
Charlotte is such a talent; it is an absolute pleasure for us to support the arts and the local community through this front cover collaboration.
The front cover is already so popular; she has had lots more requests. So Charlotte is planning to produce some cards of it that people can purchase.
We are also delighted this beautiful image will feature on the Time & Leisure Christmas card this year. And look out for a special summer version next year.
This image was inspired by the wonderful neighbourhoods in SW London and Surrey. You can spot; Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Wimbledon Park, Putney, Barnes, Kingston, Teddington, Hampton Court and iconic landmarks such as Rose theatre, Kingston’s telephone boxes, New Wimbledon Theatre, All England Lawn Tennis Club and the many parks and green spaces.
